Getting involved can seem a bit daunting at first. Don’t worry; we’re a rather friendly bunch. This guide is designed to help you get up and running.
Introduce Yourself
Come and join the matrix channel and introduce yourself. You can use any public matrix server to join, or access it via the Freenode IRC network. Create a GitLab account
Create a GitLab Account
The next step is to create a GitLab account on our server. Gitlab is at the core of most of our projects, as it’s where all the code, issues and docs live. Almost all of our websites (including this one!) also are generated from code on the git server. It’s free to create an account, and the only thing you need is an email address.
Your GitLab accounts also get access to some of our other services, such as our online markdown editor for creating notes.
Getting Started
There are lots of ways to contribute to our projects. Below are some of how you can help.
